What a week!!…. between sleep battles and blasphemy we are knackered!!!! Yes, while playing one evening our 2 year old – who we are teaching please and thank you – blasphemed. No, we don’t talk that way. No, we don’t think anyone should talk that way!! Where did she hear it??? Oh, yes, at her daycare where she goes only twice a week!!! You better believe we had a doozy with the educators and directors!!! And…. try to explain to a toddler that there are words that we don’t say… ummmmm yes!!! Fun!

At least our dogs finally had a grooming!! That is always a good day!!!! And we had a couple of sledding sessions!! The weather has been awesome!!!

Swimming lesson was ah-mazing!!!! This girl was so pumped for her session, and owned it!! It must be the new cozzie!!

I had a “raise my voice” moment, but this girl did NOT want to go to sleep, despite being super tired!! I don’t feel all that bad about it!! It rarely happens, but sometimes necessary!
Her happy meal trophy!! She was so excited for a happy meal!!
Puddles bring joy!

  1. I had tons of “taise my voice” moments with my kids LOL 😂 , and they have grown into wonderful men. . It won’t hurt her – it’s part of life dealing with different emotions. You’re doing a great job!

Having to raise your voice is just about being a parent. Now screaming is another story. Children should never be screamed at unless it’s a life and death situation. I had to laugh at the part where she used words that she didn’t hear at home. I guess that’s part of growing up as well. All we can do is use those moments as teaching moments. You’re doing a great job. Never doubt yourself.
