We visited the Japanese Tea Garden on our first day in San Francisco. What will always be my most vivid memory of this day? It was raining, no, it was pouring! We were sopping wet for most of the day (so excuse my super stylish hair!) Off course we got off at the wrong bus stop (by bus driver suggestion), and had to walk a few kilometres to our accommodation. This walk was mostly up! Up-up-up!
It did not stop – the rain. The whole day it rained, but we, eager travellers went on our way! With only a few days in San Francisco, there was no time to waste! On this rainy day we took a walk in the pan-handle. Of course the Japanese Tea Garden has been on my list to visit for a very long time…
We loved it! We enjoyed this way more than we expected to! It was much smaller than I anticipated, but packed with fantastic gardens. The misty, rainy mood made for some great photo ops!! This really was a great stop on our San Francisco trip!
