Our first lawn cut…

Yes, it is that time of year where people are avidly doing some gardening!! Seeing that we came to Canada with only two suitcases each (no lawnmower), we were a little later than everyone else starting our fresh new start… I have been searching for a weeder for over two weeks – it seems to be sold out EVERYWHERE…. The search continues, but in the meantime, at least the lawn looks much better!!! 🙂 **

And now we are heading into a winter… but our town’s winter days are still better than summer in other places… 🙂

    1. It seems to be the truth!!! We are in summer now…. and for the last week we’ve not had temperatures above 15°C!!! (afraid my legs won’t be seeing as much sun as I would’ve liked!!!) 😉 **

  4. Wow, you had quite the jungle there LOL!! Ours was looking like that the other day too until hubby bought a new lawnmower blade. Cutting grass is way better than shovelling snow, wouldn’t you agree? 🙂

    1. I totally agree – (so over the snow!) – now we are trying to tackle the weeds…. but there are just.too.many.!!!! 😀 **

    Love these shots, Xan.

I’ve got a friend who used to tend golf courses – he recommended cutting the lawn every week, or at least fortnightly during summer. You’ll have a beautiful, lush, dense lawn in no time with few weeds. Just don’t cut it to short – little trims, regularly.

It’ll keep the old boy busy too 😉
